Congratulations to LE II and the volunteers for their fantastic efforts in raising more than $1,300 for Japan during their bake sale. Montessori students are always learning about the fundamental needs of human beings, so when the students in LE II heard about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, they knew that those human beings would need help with fundamental needs like food, water, clothing and shelter. The decision to help presented itself in the form of a Bake Sale in order to raise money for the people of Japan and their fundamental needs. The bake sale table was filled with a plethora of delicious delights prepared by members of our wonderful MSR community. It was even covered by the News & Observer.
